BASF x SCAD
This project was completed during my course of study at the Savannah College of Art and Design Hong Kong campus. SCAD offered me the opportunity to be apart of a collaboration with BASF, the worlds largest chemical company. Naturally, I jumped at the opportunity and it was even more fulfilling than I had hope. Working with my fellow students and BASF's Asia Pacific Polyamides division was an extremely valuable learning experience. It allowed me to test my knowledge of product development, market research, and professional presentation in a real world situation. My roles in this project included product developer, market researcher, and events & projects manager.
“We had a wonderful and inspirational experience with SCAD’s collaborative project. The students really took our innovative fabric to a whole new level, exceeding our expectations. Some of their findings opened new application possibilities and we are looking forward to presenting their ideas to brand owners that we are partnered with. Most of all, we enjoyed seeing this group of young minds at work. We could really feel the enthusiasm and team spirit within the group!
