Evanescence Film
Evanescent, fleeting, fading, quasi-present. This film is based on a void. Rebecca Ochab’s collection of dark silhouettes are inspired by how soaring skyscrapers seems to dissolved into the polluted atmospheres in some of the most populated cities in China. Moments in this short film are fleeting. The scene will move quickly then deliberately slow to show the intricacy of the garments and capture the mood. There is obscurity and then sudden moments of clarity, like a novel clear day in Shanghai.
